Italianate terraceThe Gardens

The Residence is fortunate enough to have a very large rear garden walled in for privacy and seclusion. Now starting to mature it has plenty to keep you amused should the weather permit outdoor pursuits such as croquet, boules and trampolining... otherwise use the sun lounger or just sit in one of the many seating areas and just watch life go by whilst listening to the fountain.

The Terrace

The main seating terrace is accessed from the bar through large retractable glass doors, it comfortable seats 18 people with large tables and the remote controlled awning can be drawn over its entirety should the sun, or rain, become bothersome.

The Lawn

Certainly large enough for croquet and even a badminton court, the grass is kept in peak condition by the gardener.

Fruit & herbs

The gardens have apple and pears trees on one side as well as wild strawberries that tend to fruit very well and , as you would expect from a well maintained garden there is a variety of herbs throughout the borders that you can use in the kitchen or cocktails.

Towards the rear of the garden is a delightful sunspot with a wisteria running over the top, the seating is interspersed between the columns affording you a full day of sun should you wish.entrance gate post

The front of the House

There is parking for at least six cars, any more and you might find that you have to park them across the road where parking is free.

Front seating area

Another sunspot that works beautifully in the morning as it is just outside the dining room so that you can have breakfast Al Fresco style by simpy stepping through the door. More herb borders are to be found here and another gurgling fountain.
