How to find the Residence, Bath

We apologize, but even though our building is nearly two hundred years old, Multi-map and Google both will lead you into a 1960's housing estate, built on what was the back garden of The Residence, if you enter our postcode. In order to avoid this pitfall amend our postcode slightly and please enter BA1 2XY into your satnav for an accurate destination. The links above are also set to the amended postcode.

The Residence is on the north side of the junction between Weston Road, Park Lane and the north west vehicular access to Royal Victoria Park. This junction is marked by a tricky mini-roundabout. We are identified by four bronze plaques on our gateposts and by two sets of big wooden gates. The open ones to the right of the big hedge are where you should aim for, as the closed ones to the left don't open.

So if you come from the west along Weston Road, do a wide left hand turn. If you come from the east along Weston Road, signal right at the roundabout and turn sharply right after it. If you are coming up Park Lane, you will see us right in front of you to the left of the Royal Mail box in the wall.
